About Marysue Ryan
My Original art is available on straitsviewfineart.com
I was raised in Michigan where my parents instilled in me a deep love of the beautiful landscapes and the wildlife that surrounded me there.
Along the way I have studied studio art under various mentors and teachers and have taught Fine art, sculpture and photography at the middle and high school level.
My photograph THE TREASURE was chosen as a winning entry for the Ron Howard/Canon contest titled: 'Project Imagination.
This award was truly an honor that culminated with my photograph being exhibited in the Lincoln Center in New York City and in a promotional shot in Wired Magazine. This was a defining moment for me, but more importantly one that gave me the self-esteem and motivation to continue with whatever visions that popped into my head and allowed me to take chances with my work.
