I took this nautical or marine photo in Woods Hole Massachusetts , the boat was moored by a dock in a pretty little harbor. I was intrigued by the reflections in the water and especially the tenders or buoys . I know that they are functional but to me they took on a life of their own . With vivid colors and textures against the water they became beautiful shapes and designs as the water rippled their reflection. So beautiful against the dark hull of the boat .

If you would like to buy an original Painting please go to straitsviewfineart.com I also am happy to entertain commissions . I was raised in Michigan and grew up with a true love of the beautiful wild landscape that surrounded me there . I studied studio art in Vermont and have held an eclectic mix of odd jobs since then , including working in a Crab Cannery in Alaska to Milking cows in Vermont. I have always been an artist and find myself experimenting with various mediums ... Photography, Painting, sculpture and digital art . It has been a slow and steady love affair for me that involves showing people the world through my eyes....
